Should I sell my favourite 'Sunshine' painting?

It's just too hard to decide. I love him, he makes me happy. But maybe he should go spend some time in France in a new home?? Sigh. I just don't know.

Second Cover Option

So here is the basic second cover option, which i believe we both have decided not to use. But my brother will put both forward to the publisher, and we'll see what their experts come back with as far as ideas go for. I also gave him a layout with text and several views/options for the back and front covers. Who knows! In the end, I just hope he is happy with the final book.

White World

Actually had some real sunlight yesterday; chose to cut off the top of the trees in this photo, but I'm not sure I made the right choice. The poor puppies are still sleeping today after yesterdays walk on the snowmobile trails. Perhaps we went too far for the bassets?? Poor darlin's.

Anyway, this morning I'm finishing Roddy's book cover (front) and missing church in the process (sorry Mom). Will try and post later, but also have to pack and drive home this afternoon. Back to work tomorrow ... end of vacation. Sigh.

Country Barn

Forgot to add in at least one barn. People are so creative when trying to sustain these for "just one more year", as they're really very expensive to replace. This one is definitely on it's last legs, though.

Ah Ha!! Figured it out.

Took me awhile, but I've figured out (I think) how to update the new blog design. Feeling rather foolish at the moment too, but that'll pass. Whatever.

Just wanted to add a few photos from the Canadian north vacation that I'm on, although I should be including some pictures of a car, as it seems that I've been doing a lot of driving.

Stopped to photograph two deer grazing by the side of the road in Ganoque - wonderful. Very Canadian, I know, I know.

And off they go! Awesome tails on high alert.

Found a little "fixer upper" in the countryside. Not sure if I'm ready to purchase, but loved the place right off.

Might have to actually move this tree. Eventually.

Note the turret in the background, which used to be part of the house. Awesome. Needs some work still.

More milkweeds. I seem to have a latent desire to photograph these, as I have loads of pics. Here the light is not quite proper, but it does scream "I'm going to snow any minute now, so hurry up and take the photo!". Managed to be on the way back before the flakes started to fall.

... and snow it did! The world was white again before the afternoon light was gone. Found this other little place on the way back, but don't let the power lines deceive you. I think they were just to get ones hopes up. No power here!

Can't update the blog now!

Testing to see if I can update from the phone, cause the new design doesn't allow me to access the dashboard via computer!!
